Castel Rose possesses 1200 metres of exceptional riverside. With the Gardon d'Anduze being one of the cleanest rivers in France, excellent swimming is available. What's more each summer sees the building of a barrage which turns the river into a water playground just for you !
Walking / Trekking
The Cevennes provide an ideal environment for exploration : on foot, by bike, on horseback, 4 x 4 ... Whatever takes your fancy !
Canoeing
Here only for amusement, to get sun-tanned or have a refreshing time on the water ... proper sport-canoeing is not possible on the Gardon. For enthusiasts, at less than an hour away there's the Pont du Gard, on the Ceze, in l'Herault, or the Ardeche ...
Fishing
Being one the cleanest rivers in France, the Gardon d'Anduze is not short of fish ... there are several varieties present : carp, chub, "poissons blancs" (tiddlers to us), carnassiers, if you feel lucky you can even try your hand at fly-fishing.
Ponies
Pony riding inside the camping will be possible for the children. There are children who will mount on the ponies, others prefer to sit in the chariot, some will guide the journey … without forgetting the photograph and the spectators … ponies attract many people !
