What kind of entertainment is on offer at the Castel Rose campsite?
Le Castel Rose campsite in Anduze in the Gard region of France offers a full entertainment program, including an 1,800 m² pool area, kids’ club, sports fields, theme evenings and direct access to the Gardon river. Whether you’re coming as a family, with friends or as a couple, here’s what awaits you on our park throughout the season.
An aquatic area to cool off on arrival
Theaquatic area is one of the highlights of our campsite. Over 1,800 m², you’ll find :
- A heated outdoor swimming pool
- A river against the current
- Free-access slides, under parents’ responsibility
- An Aquasplash area for toddlers, separate from the main pool
- A 970 m² solarium terrace with deckchairs and parasols
Swimming is supervised from Whitsun until the end of August. Imagine your mornings punctuated by the sound of the water, the sun warming the slabs and your children racing down the slide before lunch.
Entertainment for children all day long
We offer a kids’ club for 5-12 year olds, available in July and August. Two two-hour sessions are organized each day – in the morning and afternoon – so that the little ones can make the most of their vacation.
The club’s program includes creative workshops, fairground games, Olympics and many other age-appropriate activities.
In addition to the clubs, the campsite provides :
- A net course with zip line (Accro-Game)
- A bouncy castle in front of the mini-club
- An arcade
- Playgrounds for youngsters
Moments of freedom also have their place: our children come home in the evening with stars in their eyes.
Sports and leisure: something for everyone
For the more sporty, Castel Rose has a multi-sports field and petanque courts. Table tennis equipment is available on loan from reception.
Less than 6 km from the campsite, you can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, via ferrata, canyoning, mountain biking, horse riding or golf, thanks in particular to local partner Bambou Canyon. Experiences rooted in the Cévennes region, far from the beaten track.
Evenings at Castel Rose
When the sun goes down on the Gard, the atmosphere rises on our show stage. We invite you to enjoy themed evenings, concerts, karaoke and evening pool lights.
A restaurant with covered terrace, a bar and a grocery store complete the offer, so you don’t have to look outside the park if you don’t feel like it. Traditional catering, burgers, pizzas, salads, takeaway, breakfast… We’ve got something for everyone.
The Gardon river, the natural lifeblood of the campsite
Castel Rose is set on the banks of a river, with direct access to the Gardon. A natural swimming pool, created by a small dam, allows bathing in an unspoilt setting – an experience that only a campsite like ours, at the gateway to the Cévennes, can offer.
Swimming in the river is not supervised. Paddle-boarding is available; canoeing requires contacting local service providers a few kilometers away.
Nearby activities: the Cévennes within cycling distance
Anduze and the surrounding area are full of activities to discover with family and friends. Pottery workshops, escape games, paintball, mini-farms, horse-riding: the campsite’s surroundings offer a wide range of activities for all ages and all vacation rhythms.
To reach the surrounding area without a car, the Alès train station is 20 minutes away. There is a bus service to Anduze, about 1 km from the campsite.
