Last availabilities in September : Camping bord de rivière à Anduze

September at Castel Rose, it’s the riverside camping in Anduze in its most peaceful version: fewer people, the river still there, the Cévennes in color. Some availabilities are still open. Here’s what we have to offer before we close.

Our accommodation available in September

At our campsite in Anduze, last-minute accommodation and pitches allow you to build a tailor-made holiday in the heart of nature, in a privileged setting in the Gard.

Mobile homes and cottages

Our mobile homes and cottages are still available in September, subject to availability. Depending on the range you choose, you benefit from the comfort of a larger bed, bed linen and towels included, a dishwasher and a safe. Check our available accommodations to see what’s left before closing.

Our Premium cottages, meanwhile, offer a quiet pedestrian area, end-of-stay cleaning included, and comfort designed to ensure that you want for nothing. For those looking for an uncompromising stay, this is the formula to look at first.

We also offer Tiny Houses and lodge tents for those who want to sleep as close to nature as possible, without sacrificing the finest amenities.

Pitches in the heart of nature

Our pitches are set in a large wooded park along the Gardon river. In September, finding a pitch with a view of the river becomes easier than in high season. Some 4-flower pitches have private sanitary facilities – a welcome convenience for a quiet start to the morning.

September at the gateway to the Cévennes: why it’s our favorite season

There’s something special about staying in the Gard in September. The light changes, the shadows lengthen on the wooded parkland, and the Gardon rediscovers a more intimate gentleness. Temperatures remain generous during the day, ideal for enjoying nature without the sweltering heat of July.

The campsite becomes quieter. You can settle down on a riverside pitch, hear the water flowing, and rediscover the essence of a vacation: not having to do anything in particular, yet not being bored for a second.

For families and couples alike, this is often the holiday that people are still talking about in December.

End-of-season activities and entertainment

There’s more to Castel Rose than its water features. The terrain multisports fieldpétanque, ping-pong and the Accro-Game net course with zip-line are all great ways to keep kids – and adults too – active.

In the surrounding area, 5 or 6 kilometers from the campsite, you can go canoeing, explore a via ferrata, try your hand at canyoning or go horse-riding in the Cévennes garrigues. Bambou Canyon also organizes supervised outings departing from the area.
